Andrew A tribute for #rhysforever16 #yore4

I’m trying to walk double my daily target today because it’s world mental health day. I’m not just walking to honour the memory of my nephew, taken from us at only 16, but also for everyone who has been impacted from poor mental health either directly or as a family member, friend, carer or otherwise

I am walking in solidarity with all my fellow Aussies who are impacted by mental illness and suicide. I am also doing this for myself. I am battling through a severe episode of major depression and exercise (including walking) is something that helps me get through the day. I'm doing this to speak out against the stigma around mental illness and to help myself at the same time. There is no shame in having mental health issues and there is no shame in getting help. Let's keep our bodies moving and keep the conversation going. We've got this!
