I’m walking to support mental health research

Did you know that 1 in 5 people experience symptoms of mental illness each year?

In fact, every day in Australia, 8 people will die from suicide.

Mental illness can be debilitating and can have a devastating impact on not only those living with it, but those around them.

This October, I’ll be walking to make a difference to the lives of people touched by mental illness and suicide!

I'm fundraising to raise money for life-changing research into treatment and prevention of mental illness, as well as vital support services.

It would mean so much to me if you'd support my walk this October.

Walking for Rhys

Thursday 24th Sep
We recently lost the youngest member of our family Rhys to depression. He was 19 years old. An incredible young man, a loved son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend, it has left our family devastated.

In October, as a family we will be walking a 1000km to raise money for mental health research.

We hope that by raising money for research and programs for people with depression we can help prevent many families from going through the heart ache that we are all feeling. Helping one person, one family, or saving one life will make 1000kms well worth it.

We understand that times are tough for so many right now, if you can please donate. We appreciate your support.
