Support My Walk for Mental Health Research
Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience symptoms of mental illness each year?
In fact, every day in Australia, 9 people will die by suicide.
Mental illness can be debilitating and can have a devastating impact on not only those living with it, but those around them.
This October, I’ll be taking part in One Foot Forward to help reduce the impact of mental illness and suicide.
I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute, so that they can put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.
It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.
Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.

My heart goes out to you. I suffer from debilitating depression and in March i tried to to take my own life by driving my van into a concrete wall. I broke 33 bones and still cannot walk. Depression is still strong but I’m not in the well of darkness I was in leading up to the attempt. I don’t know if iv met Erin but I’m so sorry 😞

I’m walking and fundraising in honour of my daughter Erin who lost her battle with severe mental health issues in April this year. As a father my greatest shame will always be that I could not help her. We need more research, more awareness and more resources to help people like our Erin. And please, if you need help, seek it out, do not remain silent. You are too precious to lose.
