I’m walking in solidarity this October for Australians affected by mental illness and suicide. You are not alone. It's a bloody tough road this illness, some don't understand, which makes it harder sometimes to express what it feels like. Just get up, just do this, just do that, it's fine for people to say this but they just don't understand that you just feel overwhelmed day in, day out, your own thoughts eating at you. Don't want to face another day alone, i'm lucky i have my beautiful dog Millie, if not for her, i would be sitting here, not doing anything. I'm so glad i found this page, it has helped me both physically and mentally. Thank you all for the non judgemental support I have received so far on this lil journey of trying to like myself again. Support My Walk for Mental Health Research
Did you know that 1 in 5 people experience symptoms of mental illness each year?
In fact, every day in Australia, 9 people will die by suicide.
Mental illness can be debilitating and can have a devastating impact on not only those living with it, but those around them.
This October, I’ll be taking part in One Foot Forward to help reduce the impact of mental illness and suicide.
I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute, so that they can put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.
It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.
Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.

This lil challenge against myself is giving me such a good mindset, I suffer terribly with anxiety and depression, but just a little ding on my phone that lets me know I have had another donation to my page uplifts me so much.
