Support My Walk for Mental Health Research
Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience symptoms of mental illness each year?
Mental illness can be debilitating and can have a devastating impact on not only those living with it, but those around them.
This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help reduce the impact of mental illness and suicide.
I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.
It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.
Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.
My Updates

A little better
A little better today which I pleased with. Hoping for more distance tomorrow. It’s amazing how much walking can help lift your mood 😊 Share
Pushing through
Today was a challenge emotionally and due to significant hip pain. I’m pleased with 2.5 km in spite of the hurdles and look forward to doing better tomorrow! Share
Keeping on keeping on

Day one and it’s on!

100kms plus!
If I do at least 6,000 steps per day in October, I would walk about 140 km for the month. Who wants to join me?! I’d love to be able to do more than 100kms.

Keep going!
Mental health touches my own life and the lives of many I care about. To anyone facing dark or difficult days, please know your story matters and your presence makes a difference. This is also a quiet tribute to those no longer with us, whose journeys ended too soon. May we continue one step, one breath, one day at a time — together.
