Support My Walk for Mental Health Research
Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience symptoms of mental illness each year?
Mental illness can be debilitating and can have a devastating impact on not only those living with it, but those around them.
This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help reduce the impact of mental illness and suicide.
I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.
It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.
Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.
My Updates

Weathering the Cloud
For the past seven months, it’s felt like I’ve been carrying around my own personal storm cloud. Some days it just hangs there, heavy and grey. Other days it opens up, pouring everything it’s got, leaving me drained and struggling to see much beyond the rain.
Depression can be sneaky like that — it convinces you the sun’s gone for good. But I’ve been here before, and I know clouds move. They shift, they break, and one day, light pushes through.
This walk isn’t just about ticking off kilometres for me. It’s about proving to myself that I can still take that next step, even when every part of me wants to stop. Every step is my way of quietly telling the darkness: You don’t get to win today.
If you’ve ever carried a cloud like mine, you’ll know how much even the smallest bit of support can mean. Every donation goes to the Black Dog Institute to fund research, resources, and hope — for me, for you, for anyone who’s lost in the weather right now.

I’m walking in solidarity this October for every Aussie affected by mental illness and suicide—especially the ones who keep showing up, even when it feels like no one sees them. I know what it’s like to carry the load solo, to feel like the strong one until you’re not. To those juggling work, family, expectations, and invisible battles: I see you. You’re not weak. You’re not broken. You’re bloody resilient. This walk is for the ones who’ve been let down, for those we’ve lost, and for anyone still fighting to be heard. It’s a reminder that even when the support feels thin, we’re still part of something bigger. Walking together. Standing together. Stronger together. And if you’re walking alone—I’ll walk beside you.
