Why i’m walking 100km for mental health
This October, I’ve committed to walking 100 kilometers as part of the One Foot Forward challenge, raising funds and awareness for mental health. This isn’t just a physical challenge, it’s personal. Like so many others, I’ve experienced mental health struggles firsthand. I know how heavy it can feel to carry things no one else can see. I also know the pain of watching people I care about face battles with anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. Sometimes, the smallest steps forward can be the hardest and the most important. I’m walking 100km for everyone who has ever felt alone in their struggle. I’m walking for myself, for my friends, my family, and for those who don’t feel like they have a voice. Every step I take is a step toward reducing the stigma, starting conversations, and helping to fund vital mental health services. If you can, please support me by making a donation, sharing my page, or even joining the movement yourself, it would be greatly appreciated.Support Our Walk for Mental Health Research
Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience symptoms of mental illness each year?
This October, our team is taking part in One Foot Forward to help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.
We're walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.
It would mean so much to me if you donated to support our walk.
Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.
