Support My Walk for Mental Health Research
Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience symptoms of mental illness each year?
This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.
I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.
It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.
Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.
My Updates

My why? 🫶🏽
I have recently been going through a rough patch. I silently struggled for years, before hitting my breaking point this year, only then finding the courage to ask for help. I am now 3 months on my healing journey. While I still have ‘bad’ days that make it harder than others. I still look forward to my morning walks. They provide me with comfort, peace and a sense of accomplishment. One Foot Forward is a chance for me to not only set a goal for myself and help my mental health, but to support every Australian that may be affected by mental illness and or suicide.
Many times over the years I had come close to getting help but never did due to constant invalidation of my own feelings. This is why it’s important to have open conversations about mental health. We need to support each other and break the stigma!
To all those who silently battled for years, or maybe still are, I see you and hope you know you’re not alone. There is no shame in asking for help. You matter. You are loved. You are enough. 🌻💗
