The begging of the journey.
Over the last 2 days I’ve walked 30kms to support mental health awareness with the Black Dog Institute 🖤🐾 It wasn’t always easy, but every step was worth it to shine a light on something that affects so many of us. Mental health is just as important as physical health, and the more we talk about it, the less stigma there is. For me, this isn’t about smashing out huge distances all at once — it’s about consistency. My focus is aiming for a minimum of 10,000 steps a day, because small, steady efforts really do add up. This is just the beginning of the journey — next month we’ll be pushing ourselves even further with a 150km challenge 💪✨ Feeling proud, a little sore 😅, and really grateful to be part of something that makes a difference. Here’s to taking steps—big and small—for better mental health for everyone.Support Our Walk for Mental Health Research
Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience symptoms of mental illness each year?
This October, our team is taking part in One Foot Forward to help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.
We're walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.
It would mean so much to me if you donated to support our walk.
Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.
