Step by step for a cause: walking to support mental health

Mental health issues are all around us — they don’t discriminate, and they can touch anyone’s life, including my own family. I’ve seen the pain, confusion, and quiet struggles that often go unseen by others. It’s not easy to watch someone you love go through that, and it’s a reminder of how important compassion and understanding truly are. That’s why this walking challenge means so much to me. I’m walking not just for my family, but for everyone who’s facing mental health challenges and for the families who stand beside them every day. Every step I take is a small show of support, a reminder that none of us are alone, and that kindness and connection can make a world of difference.

Support Our Walk for Mental Health Research

Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience symptoms of mental illness each year?

Mental illness can be debilitating and can have a devastating impact on not only those living with it, but those around them. 

This October, our team is taking part in One Foot Forward to help reduce the impact of mental illness and suicide.

We're walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.

It would mean so much to me if you donated to support our walk.
