I’m walking in solidarity this October for Australians affected by mental illness and suicide. You are not Mental health is such an important cause for me. A month ago, I could barely walk 700 m without keeling over In back pain. Next month, I'll be aiming to walk 150km for mental health. And I'll be trying to get it done in half the month. If you can, please donate. If you can't that's absolutely fine. Times are tough at the moment. But if I may ask, keep an eye on your mates, your co-workers, your family. If something feels off with them, ask if they're okay, and if they respond beyond yes or no, carve out the time to listen to the and assure them they are seen, they're not alone they'd be missed and there is support. Both in the for of organisations with resources and in the form of loved ones and friends that care. You might just save a life. I'm walking not only to raise money for research and not just for awareness.. I know I'm not a popular guy and I doubt this will be read. By 20 people. I'm doing this for the friends I lost along the way on the journey of life and I'm also doing this for myself as someone who has struggled and suffered over the years and has had a rather grim 2025alone.

Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience symptoms of mental illness each year?

Mental illness can be debilitating and can have a devastating impact on not only those living with it, but those around them. 

This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help reduce the impact of mental illness and suicide.

I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.
