Support My Walk for Mental Health Research
Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience symptoms of mental illness each year?
This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.
I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.
It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.
Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.

I’m walking in solidarity this October for Australians affected by mental illness and suicide. I have lost people due to mental health issues. I have struggled with my own mental health. All of which was caused by abusive individuals or groups of people known personally or professionally. For the people I have lost, there is a profound injustice in the things that happened to them, at the hands of abusers, that they thought the world would be better off without them. Mental health doesn't just happen; there is always a cause, and mental health thrives in silence and when the survivors are silenced. This month is every day for me; I don't want to lose another friend because they were silenced, and the perpetrators walk freely. It is about shining a light on mental health and understanding why people have these troubles. By doing so, we can break the cycle, allowing people to speak up freely, ask for help, and receive it while holding perpetrators accountable.
