Support My Walk for Mental Health Research
As most of you are aware that I lost my Dad on 7 July 2018 to suicide.
On the 25 October 2021 Dad would have turned 73 he will always be 69 to us, as we never got to celebrate his 70th birthday because he chose to leave earth before his time. Which still breaks all of our hearts to this day because we never got to say goodbye. I can not hate him or hold a grudge but I miss him and hate the fact he is missing out on a lot of life milestones he should have been here to celebrate especially with his grandchildren, who are the ones who are missing out the most, who are missing out on the most amazing man they have ever known and believe me they miss you every single minute of the day. I reassured them that you are watching above over them and guiding them through life.
We hope we can do you proud Dad💙
Be kind to obe another💙💙
Did you know that 1 in 5 people experience symptoms of mental illness each year?
In fact, every day in Australia, 8 people will die from suicide.
Mental illness can be debilitating and can have a devastating impact on not only those living with it, but those around them.
This October, I’ll be walking to make a difference to the lives of people touched by mental illness and suicide!
I'm fundraising to raise money for life-changing research into treatment and prevention of mental illness, as well as vital support services.
It would mean so much to me if you'd support my walk this October.
