Support My Walk for Mental Health Research
Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience symptoms of mental illness each year?
Mental illness can be debilitating and can have a devastating impact on not only those living with it, but those around them.
This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help reduce the impact of mental illness and suicide.
I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.
It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.
Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.
My Updates

I need to do this for my own sake as well as others.
Emphysema and lungs be damned !I can still make 40k's in a month.
A round trip to 5 Boroughs is 1.2 K's.
If I do this every evening for a month, plus a couple of extra on weekends, I can clock up that 40 K's.
Mental health is not a given.
Depression, ADD, sociopathy and psychosis are more common than you might think.
I'm doing this to show I give a damn.
And I'm doing this for me.
To prove to myself that I'm not done yet.
I’m walking, and due to severe emphysema, walking slowly and frequently stoping, in solidarity this October for Australians affected by mental illness and suicide. You are not alone. Terminal illness not only affects the body, it has a devestating effect on mental health as well. Not necessarily for the obvious reasons. This part is perhaps not always talked about. Starting new things can seem futile. I am doing this. 40 Kilometers. Because I still can.
