Support My Walk for Mental Health Research

Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience symptoms of mental illness each year?

This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.

Sometimes it's the small steps that make a difference in the lives of your loved ones or your own!

I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.

Every step counts & together, we can create better mental health for yourself, your loved ones and all Australians.

The long weekend that was . . . slow!

It was a slow one for the weekend! Got back into Sydney Saturday arvo after 5 days in Hobart . . . so this weekend was a reset for the week to come! Unpacked, caught up on tv series, food shop, washing, footy (Go the Broncos) and back to the gym! Locked in some KMs but was definitely a slow one . . .and you know what sometimes that's okay! 👣🧡

Mona museum, city and wharf walks

Big day exploring today! Headed of to the MONA Museum and started my KMs with 99 steps to the top entrance to the museum! Got the ferry back over, explored a few more corners of the CBD and then walked along the pier and found some burgers for lunch along the wharf! Fresh air & exploring new places by foot has been great for the mind! Every step, every KM . . . all for mental health! Keep making moves! 🧡👣

Sun is out!

Sun is out today in Hobart! 🌞 Took advantage of the sunshine and locked in a 5km morning walk! Sometimes it is the fresh air & sunshine that helps make a difference to your mental health!

Nanny goat lane

Kicked off the challenge in Hobart. . . Choosing to walk over ubers and Nanny Goat Lane was a steep one! Stopped a few times to restart but every little step counts! 👣🧡
