I’m walking in solidarity this October for Australians affected by mental illness and suicide. I plan to walk 60km and I am almost at my goal. It's been hard sometimes, but so is living with mental health issues. I do this in support for anyone going through a rough time. You are not alone!

Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience symptoms of mental illness each year?

Mental illness can be debilitating and can have a devastating impact on not only those living with it, but those around them.

This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help reduce the impact of mental illness and suicide.

I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.

It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.

It was a big day!

My job is active, but today was huge. with a few extra (many) steps thrown in I walked over 12km today! which was great as October had kind of a lazy start. 100km... what was I thinking? I was thinking of my best friend who suffered huge mental illness battles until the end. I was thinking of the times I myself has felt the harshness of the black dog. and it's totally worth the challenge! The pic was last month before the challenge started (shame as we averages 15km every day in Europe hehe).
