Jersey day!

Just back from this morning’s effort, 2.35km done ✅ Can’t beat the outlook out here… walking through the rural landscape, cane fields one day, gone the next. It’s a reminder of how quickly things can change. We’ve been blown away by the amazing support so far, from family, friends, clients, and the community. Every donation, message, and bit of encouragement keeps us moving. Team Prendo has now raised $3,475 and we’ve clocked up 67km of our 160km target 👣💪 A huge congrats to Bridie and Kelsi for already reaching their goal donations, awesome effort! 👏 Overnight we received donation from Ben Chick, Bruce & Lorraine Crane, Patty Snow, Jo Naumann, Helen Baldwin, Alan Gordon & Janine Gordon (SAM Rugby) I donned the jersey today! This is just massive, so thank you, to every single one of you! We’re walking with purpose for an incredible cause the Black Dog Institute and One Foot Forward mental health awareness. 💛🐾 Thank you all so much for your continued support.

It's World Mental Health Day! 🧡 This morning we walked the 2.3km! A huge shoutout and thank you for you generous donation Rachelle Maas! Thanks for jumping onboard and also discussing what else this cause does in the background 🙌❤️ I will admit not feeling the best, a few outside factors that have dampened what I am trying to achieve. but onward and upwards, tomorrow’s a new day as they say!

Tosay was our longest effort yet we smashed out 3.52km, main because we got the attention of swiping Plover and had to find anyone route home 😂 The fundraising has slowed so I’m putting it out on Facebook today the link so hoped this picks up, to be fair we have seen massive support so far, just amazing🙌😎 alway good ti get home from our walk to my mate, never to far away haha!

Happy birthday lil’ man!

Got a quick 2km walk in this morning! wanted to get back home in time for my lil man birthday! The reason I do everything for, he has such a big heart and deserves the world. Have an absolute blast day mate and enjoy the Sushi train later tonight 🙌❤️

Back at it and I think it’s getting easier. Having an awesome Sunday with the Broncos club getting the double put a spring in our step! We were fortunate to receive more sponsorship to go toward the cause, the dynamic duo from West Soccer Club in Kingaroy, I use to play against these lads! Awesome to see their supported Scott and Paul 🙌 Here to another great week and getting more Km on the board, onward and Upwards 👌😎

Day 5 - gf day!

Day 5 - The day has arrived! Grand Final day! Yes, but first we did our walk! A few spectators along the way! Joined by the one and only Honor. Thus put me just over the 12 km mark and powering on! A generous sponsorship made, all the way from U.K thanks Kev🙏 The support from everyone is massive. Go the mighty Broncos today, one foot in front of the other…. Really quickly and several times🤣 Onward & Upwards

Day 4 - the weekend is here 🙌😎

Day 4 - Seriously cannot beat this part of the world we live in, summer is almost here and you can start to feel it 🙌 Again I want to say thanks to everyone who is backing us on this journey! Hit 3km on today’s effort, my partner in crime Kelsi by my side, I just love it! We continue to get amazing people donating as well, an awesome contribution from Brendan Baker, thanks mate! Keeping me fit doesn’t mean I’m playing next year either ⚽️🤣 Also from anonymous… a nice message to go with .. “It is what it is - one foot in front of the other #GoBroncos! “ - Giddy up 🐴 Our support crew met us when we got home, they alway make sure we’re awake to get going in the mornings 😜

Day 3 - plenty of sunshine!

Day 3…. Rain , hail or shine… okay! okay! the rain and hail were yesterday! But, awesome sunshine this morning. Yep, a morning I felt like a sleep in, however, I didn’t want to let myself, Team Prendo or the amazing crew down who have backed us through sponsorships! A huge shoutout to Ben Johns, Meg (Mum) Tara and Helen Baldwin for throwing their support behind me. This along with everyone interacting with the support is greatly appreciated! Now get out there and have an amazing Friday 🙌😎 Onward & Upwards

Day 2

Hey all, well day 2 was less like Forest Gump sprinting out the front gate, more like a Cliffie Young shuffle. Churned out 2.5km walk with this lil gem! Big thank you for support from Scott Dempster it’s greatly appreciated. Also to the head office team at Explore Property Andrew and Kelli for their massive sponsorship, you both got me yesterday, lost for words, thank you 🙌🙏 We did go this morning Shaz just a bit later hahaha, every small bit helps! One foot in front of another, Onward & Upwards😎

It’s a start….

Biggest fear today were magpies, so took a jog with no big trees about haha! I did stop and have a chat along the way but still got in my 2km 👌

Mental illness can be debilitating and can have a devastating impact on not only those living with it, but those around them. 

This October, our team is taking part in One Foot Forward to help reduce the impact of mental illness and suicide.

We're walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.
