Support My Walk for Mental Health Research
I’m walking this October for my cousin. My brother. My Beau man. 💙Beau’s life was precious, and losing him to suicide has left a hole that can never be filled. I’m walking not only to honour his memory but to shine a light on the reality of mental illness and the devastating impact it can have on individuals and families.
Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience symptoms of mental illness each year? Behind every number is someone’s child, sibling, cousin, friend, someone loved, someone irreplaceable.
This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to raise funds for the Black Dog Institute. Their work puts life saving mental health treatments, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.
Walking for Beau is my way of carrying his story forward so that others don’t have to walk the same path of loss. If you’re able to, it would mean so much if you could support me with a donation. Together, we can help create better mental health for all Australians, and bring hope where it’s needed most.
This is for you Beau Man 💛
