Support My Walk for Mental Health Research
Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience a mental illness each year?
This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.
I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.
It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.
Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.

I want to say thank you to One Foot Forward for being able to celebrate my purpose. Having lost my best mate to suicide 40 years ago I quickly made the promise to not only live my life to the fullest but to push the boundaries a bit! I promised myself to go above and beyond not only for myself but for the life that Michael missed out on. I have always lived, loved and played it that way. Thankfully I found this great cause at the inception and it helped me and others to reflect, be grateful, somewhat heal and help others. I hope this inspires others to go all out and live the best life you possibly can. This year I managed to celebrate my wife and I 30th Wedding Anniversary, her birthday and in a few days mine chasing 200kms again! We have been able to do this on an amazing trip which saw us step our way around Australia, United States, Bahamas, Jamaica (just before the hurricane god bless), Cayman Islands and Mexico. I’m definitely not a rich man by any means but October is just such a high with all the celebrations and to share that with my thoughts and prayers for many of my friends and family who have suffered, suffer or may suffer with Mental Health issues, if this small sacrifice can make a difference to one person’s life then my job is done! Hope to see you all here again next October! Love to you all and love to the Black Dog Institute for this great charity! 🖤🧡
