A tribute for My cousin April & My mum Cathryn

This March and the year 2020, i lost two incredible souls who meant the world to me to suicide. My beloved cousin April and my dear mum. Their absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but their love, strength and spirit continue to inspire me everyday. In their memory I'm walking in solidarity this October for Australians affected by mental illness and suicide prevention. Everyday, countless lives are touched by the silent struggleof mental health challenges. Suicide is a heartbreaking reality that affects individuals, families, and communities worldwide. But together we have the power to make a differenece. No one should suffer in silence Your support can bring hope to those who feel hopeless, provide vital resources for those n need, and save lives that might otherwise be lost. Join me in my mission to prevent suicide and promote mental well being. Every donation, big or small helps, lets stand together to break the stigma, offer compassion and create a world where no one feels alone.

Support My Walk for Mental Health Research

Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience symptoms of mental illness each year?

Mental illness can be debilitating and can have a devastating impact on not only those living with it, but those around them.

This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help reduce the impact of mental illness and suicide.

I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.

It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.

Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.

Support My Walk for Mental Health Research

This October, I will be walking in honour of two incredible women who will forever hold a piece of my heart my cousin April, who we lost in March this year, and my mum Cathryn who pass in 2020 both who committed suicide.

Both were full of laughter, love and light. They cared deeply for others, but behind their smiles, they carried battles that too often go unseen. Losing them changed my life. But it also gave me a purpose to speak up , to raise awareness, and to help other who are struggling to find hope and support.

This walk is for them and for everyone who's ever felt alone in their fight.
Every step i take this October is a step toward change, toward breaking the silence, and toward reminding people that its ok to not be ok.

By Donating or simply sharing this page your helping give hope, help and healing for those who need it most.
