Support My Walk for Mental Health Research

Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience a mental illness each year?

This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.

I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.

It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.

I'm back for another year!

I'm doing it again! Walking 60kms with a $1000 donation goal with all proceeds going towards mental health research and support for others like me living with mental health conditions! Most of you know my story and for those who don't here is a little bit about me: I Grew up in WA with an Abusive Parent, struggled with bullying from an early age and then in my adult years got my self into abusive relationships and was raising a little boy with super special needs, so My mental health has always been a struggle to the point where I turned to drugs and alcohol to numb it. Last year I had a massive mental break down after using Meth for 10 months, I will never forget how broken I was when I called my beautiful step mum and little sister for help, Ayla got me a plan ticket and I was on my way here to start a new life and actually get the help I needed. Not everyone is as lucky as me to have such amazing family support to help and push them on the right track and that's where Black dog Institute comes in. Last year I raised $385 and walked the 60kms this year I want to try and raise more and I Need your guys Help to do it! Even if it's $2 or just simply interacting with my posts because let's face it I know we are all doing it tough in a our way I would extremely appreciate it! Thankyou!
