Support My Walk for Mental Health Research

Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience symptoms of mental illness each year?

Mental illness can be debilitating and can have a devastating impact on not only those living with it, but those around them. 

This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help reduce the impact of mental illness and suicide.

I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.

It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.

Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.

My Updates

Halfway through october

I have walked 129km of my goal of 100km. Going to see if my body will hold up for a new 200km goal. I have also raised $1341 which is unbelievable. Thanks everyone.

Going hard

I have walked 34k so far and probably another 3k this afternoon. getting as many in as I can before my knee gives up. probably should be starting slow and building up but that’s just not me.

Busted knee

Had a bad fall on Monday night and damaged my knee, I have continuously iced it so hoping it is better to go for the 1/10

Getting in the practice km’s

Puffin and I have been getting in a few km’s in September before the 100km challenge starts in October. I think she is looking more worn out than me though, we have racked up 67km’s so far.
