Daniel

Throughout our lives, many of us carry struggles that aren't visible to the people around us. We get good at putting on a brave face, pushing through, and convincing ourselves that asking for help is a sign of weakness. In reality, it takes far more courage to be honest about what we're carrying. I've faced my own mental health challenges over the years and I've seen close friends face theirs as well. Those experiences have reminded me that none of us are as alone as we sometimes feel. The things we struggle with are often deeply personal, but they're also part of the shared human experience. That's why I believe it's important to shine a light on mental health and create space for open conversations. When we feel able to speak honestly, listen without judgement, and support one another, the weight becomes a little easier to carry. If we're in this together, then no one has to carry it alone.

Support My Walk for Mental Health Research

Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience a mental illness each year?

This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.

I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.

It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.

Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.
