Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience a mental illness each year?

This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.

I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.

My nephew the crow

Last year I had a crow follow me for around 100 metres for the whole of my One Foot Forward challenge. November 1, gone! So you can imagine my astonishment when I started my walk again and there he was in the same spot waiting for me. I believe my nephew (the reason I'm walking) is with me on my journey.
