Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience symptoms of mental illness each year?
This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.
I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.

A tribute for Paul, Jayden, Hayden, Julie, Pam I’m walking in solidarity this October for all Australians affected by mental illness and suicide. You are not alone. I want to change the stigma that is attached to mental health. For me I’m walking for all those people who just couldn’t find a way out other than suicide. That they felt it was the only option. For myself, who has been highly functioning depressed person for most of my life, only realising this was what was wrong with me about 5 years ago. Depression does not always appear the way you expect, it can be sneaky and a person so ashamed that they function normally while on the inside they are dying. It has taken a lot for me to admit this openly. I hope my message helps someone realise they are not alone and we are a tribe who are here to support each other 💙
