Support My Walk for Mental Health Research

Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience symptoms of mental illness each year?

This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.

I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.

It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.

Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.

My Updates

Why?

Not all of my friends know (now I guess they will) I have struggled with Anxiety and depression since I was 13. For most of my life I have been medicated and still am. People (like myself) struggling with Mental Health is a daily obstacle you have to live with from the moment you open your eyes each day. That of course presumes that you have actually slept. Going to bed at night does not guarantee a restful night. Exhaustion is oppressive and makes the whole situation worse. If you are reading this please understand this is just a plea for understanding. And for support.

Day 1

seeking self motivation to get started.
