Support My Walk for Mental Health Research

Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience symptoms of mental illness each year?

Mental illness can be debilitating and can have a devastating impact on not only those living with it, but those around them.

This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help reduce the impact of mental illness and suicide.

I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.

It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.

Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.

My Updates

First day!

Today is day 1 of my 60km challenge. This evening I took a walk around Jamison Park, racking up 6km.

Short stroll

Just a short stroll around the neighbourhood this evening. Stay safe everyone :)

Penrith men’s walk and talk

Everyone can benefit from someone to chat to. Particularly men can find it hard to talk about the tough stuff that goes on in life. Thursday 5pm we meet at Coffee Club Tench Ave for the Penrith Men’s Walk and Talk. Come for the talk, or the walk, or both! We walk about 7km doing the river loop up to the footbridge then back the other side and over the m4 bridge. Walk as little or as much as you like. I plan to do this walk during October as part of my One Foot Forward fund raiser for the Black Dog Institute supporting people living with mental illness.
