Support My Walk for Mental Health Research

Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience a mental illness each year?

This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.

I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.

It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.

Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.

My Updates

A walk for my friend

This October, I'm taking on the 80km One Foot Forward Challenge to help support Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.

In April this year, which honestly only feels like yesterday, I lost a very close friend to suicide.

When I say I lost a friend, it was so much bigger than just me. Our community and everyone who loved him lost a devoted dad, uncle, son, friend, mentor, and someone who meant so much to so many people. His loss has affected our lives every single day.

Walking 80km won't change what happened, but it's something I can do to honour my friend and help raise awareness and funds that may support someone else who is struggling in a dark place.

So, I'll be heading out for many long walks, with my friend in my thoughts every step of the way.

If you're able to support me, any donation—big or small—would mean the world. Together, we can help make sure more Australians get the support they need.
