Support My Walk for Mental Health Research

Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience a mental illness each year?

This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.

I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.

It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.

Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.

My Updates

Day 12

Has been very slow progress this past week ..weather and work have consumed my efforts .non the less I will complete the challenge. Thank you all so far for your support

Day 5

Feet are feeling it today, being so close to yesterday's walk. Unfortunately with storms approaching, not much choice if you want to get the km in.

Day 4

Aanother windy day with plenty of waves blocking the paths ..Was pushing for the 20km mark..unfortunately I didn't charge my phone enough and stopped at 5%

Day 3

Late start and wind was a factor....Added a few extra km today and got smashed by a wave so cooled me down a little... all in all was a good walk PB achieved today.

Day 2

Wind was up today and was feeling very tied but this is all about not giving up so went out head first into the wind and ended up being a very nice 7km walk
