Support My Walk for Mental Health Research
I recently lost a treasured friend to suicide, sadly this isn't the first friend but I want to do what I can to make him the last and honour his memory.
I have had my own dealings with the dreaded black dog and through education, awareness and doing the work I have gained skills to challenge it when it rears its unwelcome self.
Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience a mental illness each year?
This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.
I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.

Hi Matey, funny, not funny, how most people don't know or don't even suspect what's behind any smiling eyes. I lost my partner Wayne Hogarth 8 years ago, he couldn't shake off the black dog, chose to get off at the exit. I've never really got over it ,but nights like Ministry , I have a dance for him every time.
