Walking to raise awareness about men’s mental health
On average, about 7 men die by suicide each day in Australia. Out of roughly 9 total daily suicide deaths across the general population, men account for approximately 75% to 76% of all cases.
Unfortunately my brother is part of that statistic. I have always been passionate about mental health awareness, as myself suffer mental health problems. I know what it’s like to fight your mind constantly and the battles.
We need to stop the stigma around mental health especially for men. They need to know it’s okay to say I’m not okay and it’s okay to ask for help. That they won’t loose their employment or anything if they seek help.
So this October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.
It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.
Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.

I’m doing this walk to bring awareness around men’s mental health. March last year we lost my beautiful brother to suicide.
