Support My Walk for Mental Health Research
Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience symptoms of mental illness each year?
Mental illness can be debilitating and can have a devastating impact on not only those living with it, but those around them.
This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help reduce the impact of mental illness and suicide.
I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.
It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.
Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.
Like many of you, life hasn’t always been smooth sailing. I’ve struggled with past trauma, family breakdown loss and grief. Some of the hardest battles I’ve ever fought have been against my own mind. It’s taken a little while to find peace amongst the chaos, to find peace within myself. I’m fortunate to be surrounded by beautiful souls who check in from time to time and I recognize the importance of self-care and having the right support. This October, I'm dedicated to promoting mental wellness and reducing the stigma. I'm walking 100km for mental health awareness, one step at a time. Normally I go it alone but if you’re looking for an ear or just need some company, I’ve got you. Every step counts, let's walk together toward a healthier, inclusive, more compassionate world.
