Support My Walk for Mental Health Research

Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience a mental illness each year?

This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.

I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.

It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.

Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.

My Updates

Setback

I have hit a speed bump on my journey.
I have developed a very painful corn on my little toe which unfortunately is preventing me from wearing closed in shoes!
I still aim to reach my target and hopefully beyond so keep the donations coming to support this amazing cause.

Week 2

It’s been a long week for myself mentally but I’m soldiering on. Today is the day we celebrate my brothers life. 
I’m blown away by the support I have received so far and can’t believe I’ve nearly reached my goal already.

Week 1

This week has been particularly tough for me. My daughter and I flew to Perth as she was having eye surgery and whilst she was in recovery I was saying my last goodbye to my Brother who is now reunited with my Dad and a lot of other loved ones who have left us. ❤️ Walking is so therapeutic for my mind and soul especially at this time, so I am aiming to complete at least 5km a day! Thankyou to those that have already donated I truly appreciate it.
