Support My Walk for Mental Health Research
Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience a mental illness each year?
This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.
I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.
It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.
Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.

In loving memory of Jamie who passed away from suicide in 1999 at the age of 18. He left behind personal diaries and writings for a book he was writing because he wanted to be an author. For the past six months I have been researching how he lived. I hope to finish his book and share the message he wanted to share with the world. He wanted people to open their eyes and raise awareness. He wrote a list of hopes, dreams and goals within the last 8 months of his life. They weren’t extravagant, simple things. Sadly he only fulfilled a few of them. One was as simple as getting a library card. Today, or any other day, give someone a simple smile, ask them how they are doing. That simple gesture and acknowledgement can change someone’s life. Jamie just wanted to be loved and accepted for who he was. Rest in peace my beautiful brother. 27 years gone but not forgotten.
