A tribute for Ebony Vella

I am walking to help bring awareness to mental health in memory of my daughter Ebony. Ebony sadly passed away just shy of her 23rd birthday in 2022 due to complications while under the care of a private psychiatric clinic, where she had voluntarily admitted herself seeking support for her mental health. Ebony had struggled with depression and suicidal thoughts for many years. She was constantly working hard to overcome her challenges and get her life back on track. Ebony, I am walking this for you my beautiful babyface. Every step and every breath is for you. Always for you 🌈🦋🩵💜🩵🦋🌈

Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience symptoms of mental illness each year?

Mental illness can be debilitating and can have a devastating impact on not only those living with it, but those around them.

This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help reduce the impact of mental illness and suicide.

I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.
