Still Standing, Still Fighting

This year, I'm walking to raise awareness of mental illness in Australia.
Mental health isn't something I've only read about or seen from the outside. It's something I've lived with, struggled through, and continue to work on every day. I know how isolating it can feel, how hard it is to speak up, and how easy it is to believe you have to carry everything on your own.
More than one in three young Australians are experiencing mental health difficulties, yet many aren't getting the support they need. Sometimes it's because they don't know where to turn. Other times, asking for help face to face feels overwhelming or impossible.
My motto, "Still Standing, Still Fighting," reflects my ongoing battle with mental health. It means choosing to keep going on the hard days and continuing to show up even when things feel heavy. It's a message I live by, and one I'll keep carrying forward.
This year, for the first time, I'm taking part in One Foot Forward to support Australians affected by mental illness and suicide. Every dollar raised helps the Black Dog Institute deliver groundbreaking research, treatments, education and digital services to the people who need them most.

Keep on going, keep on fighting <3 Good on you!
