Support My Walk for Mental Health Research

Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience symptoms of mental illness each year?

Mental illness can be debilitating and can have a devastating impact on not only those living with it, but those around them.

This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help reduce the impact of mental illness and suicide.

I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.

It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.

Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.

My Updates

5 days done and dusted!

We are over halfway through, just shy of 100kms completed! Here are the highlights: - the scenery is STUNNING! Whether it’s coastal or bush, it is superb! - the wildflowers are flowering, what a feast for the eyes! - lots and lots of whales have been seen! - stopping at Gracie’s for a sausage roll, coffee and muffin 😍 - met some lovely people along the way, friendships shared over blister blocker applications - the company is the winner! Claire and I have are the perfect combo to get the walks going and motivate each other every day, couldn’t do it otherwise! Here are the lowlights: - some of the camp long drops needs flushing out 🥴 finding a few that are a bit too full 💩 - the blisters and muscle aches - some snoring neighbours in a small but busy campsite - day 2 graced us with all day rain and wind 😅 Check in again when we can!

1 week to go!!

Today marks 1 week until we hit the trails!!! Claire is busy testing her gear out on an overnighter on the Bibbulman track to make sure everything works the way it should, and Meg is getting her packing and meals under control ready for the flight to Perth!

Excited to have all your support and cannot wait to share this journey with you all!

Walking the Cape to Cape - WA’s 130km coastal walk

Hi everyone! The wonderful Claire and I will be fundraising whilst walking the Cape to Cape track in WA! Spanning 130ish km’s from Cape Naturaliste to Cape Leeuwin, the two of us will have plenty of time to chat about all things (probably mostly me chatting, sorry Claire 😂).

Help us raise money for The Black Dog Institute, and motivate us to keep our legs moving everyday for 8 days!

Can’t wait to share the journey with you all, kicking things off the 19th of October!
