Here's a bit about me!

Firstly, as stated by the standard text supplied by One Foot Forward - "Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience symptoms of mental illness each year?"

Loads of people you know will have had experience with Mental Health. It's a sad reality, and its an understaffed, under researched, under researched, little spoken about issue. Mental health doesn't discrominate against anyone, as everyone is susceptible to having mental health problems. Despite this, there are many demographics who are over-represented in the mental health space and one of those being my community, the Aboriginal community.

My goal is to reach a donation target of $1000 for the research of mental health. That's a broad topic, but it is so very needed.

So!

If my target is reached, I will do 1km of walking in a onesie type costume thing in a public area (Costume TBD).
