Day 1 done !

Day 1 walk with bubba and the two dogs! harder pushing a pram with doggies but we got it done. what a privilege it is to move our bodies. can’t believe we are almost 50% of our goal completed and it’s only day 1 ❤️

For kyle ❤️

This September the four of us are walking, running, cycling or swimming a total of 1080km. We will be moving 9km every single day for the 9 lives lost to suicide in Australia each day, in honour of our beautiful brother Kyle who we sadly lost to suicide earlier this year. We’re walking with the Black Dog Institute to help raise vital funds for mental health research, education, awareness and better treatments, whilst helping break down the stigma that too often stops people from reaching out for help. Every day throughout September, we’ll share our activity on our team fundraising page and social stories to keep ourselves accountable and show the reality behind this challenge. We’re not asking for a lot — even a $5 donation can make a difference. If everyone who sees this gave just a few dollars, together we could help support research, improve our mental health system and most importantly, help create a future where fewer families have to experience the heartbreak of losing someone they love to suicide. For Kyle, for the people we love, and for the 9 lives we lose every day. Please help us reach our goal and make every kilometre count ❤️

Support Our Walk for Mental Health Research

Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience a mental illness each year?

This October, our team is taking part in One Foot Forward to help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.

We're walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.

It would mean so much to me if you donated to support our walk.

Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.
