Support My Walk for Mental Health Research

Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience a mental illness each year?

This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.

I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.

Back at it 🤞

We’ve made walking fun for the past couple days - slower paced but it’s nice to be out and about again. Saturday around Caversham Wildlife park and Sunday Telethon! I actually couldn’t believe how much walking we did 😮

Getting there 💪

Slowly getting better and faster again 💪 the other day 1.6km was agonising and took like 40min. today I did 2.5km in 35min. Definitely take mobility for granted!

Injured back

It has taken me 30min to walk 1.1km today 🤣 with an injured back. I have began physio yesterday and will keep on moving for my own mental wellbeing. Nothing sucks more than being limited 😩 it makes you appreciate every movement a lot more though. Today is Max’s 10th birthday. So it’s nice to be out with him and Tamzyn even if we are waddling ducks.
