Support My Walk for Mental Health Research

Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience a mental illness each year?

This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.

I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.

It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.

Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.

My Updates

My reason for taking part

I have registered to walk 40km to raise money for mental health research.

I have struggled with my mental health on and off since I was 14 years old.

My eldest child is nearly 13 and they are struggling at the moment as well.

I have an online friend who lost her 18 year old daughter earlier this year. She was in a mental facility that was supposed to help her. She tried to take her own life while in this facility and they STILL let her out on a day release, without communicating this to her Mum. Not long after she left, she succeeded in ending her pain in a way that no one else was able to 😢

I am walking for me, my child, my friend's child and everyone else who needs help.

Mental illness does not discrimate.
Actors/actresses, lawyers, doctors, rich or poor. Mums, Dads, children, brothers, sisters, the list goes on. Some people are quiet and deal with it in silence. Some people are loud and want to be heard.

I appreciate any donation, big or small.

Thank you 💜
