Support My Walk for Mental Health Research
Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience symptoms of mental illness each year?
This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.
I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.
It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.
Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.
My Updates

Mindful movement aka soundness of mind
Optimal mental health is not contingent upon constant happiness; rather, it entails acknowledging and embracing the ebbs and flows of life's emotions. We strongly believe that walking in nature is a potent means of promoting mental wellness. While walking is renowned for its physical health benefits, including maintaining cardiovascular, bone, and muscle health, its benefits extend far beyond physical wellbeing. In today's fast-paced world, stress can easily overwhelm us, causing us to lose perspective. This is precisely why we advocate for walk therapy. We are convinced that walking and conversing with others in a natural setting yields numerous mental health benefits. This October, I am once again supporting Black Dog Institute's walk for Mental Health as part of my Birthday Fundraising. The positive aspect of this cause is that you have the option to choose what you can do, and who you can share activities that promote wellbeing. You can walk, run, bike ride, and more. In October, I will participate in a solidarity walk to support Australians affected by mental illness and suicide, and together we can shine a light of hope, reminding everyone that they are not alone.
