I’m walking in solidarity this October for Australians affected by mental illness and suicide. As someone living with Bipolar Type 1, my motivation is to raise awareness for mental health and raise funds to break down barriers to accessing support.

Support My Walk for Mental Health Research

Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience symptoms of mental illness each year?

I am 1 of these 5. Bipolar disorder nearly took me out of the game for good. It can be so scary to be alive and thriving in a world where your brain doesn't want to co operate. It can be debilitating, but research, medication, therapy and advocacy all play their roles in my, and many other people's, recovery journey.

This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help reduce the impact of mental illness and suicide.

I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.

It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.

Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.

6 weeks until I start to make my 100km trek in the name of mental health. Im beyond excited to be already sitting close to $300 in donations thanks to close family and friends! Thank you- it truly means the world 🥰 To kickstart my fund-raising journey, I'll starting a 100 board 💯 For just $10 per ticket you have the chance to win $500 with the other $500 going straight to the Black Dog Institute which will support research towards various mental health issues.
