My why <3
Mental health is a big part of my life, both through my own experiences and through my work as a youth peer worker There was a time when I couldn’t picture being here, let alone doing work that means so much to me. I’m grateful that I get to, but I also know how many people are still trying to get through each day. and I’ve known too many young people who have died by suicide. People who should still be here. It’s difficult to put into words how much that stays with you. It’s a big part of why I care so deeply about young people feeling safe enough to ask for help, and being able to access safe, compassionate care when they do. I’m running 7km every day for the 1 in 7 adolescents living with mental illness. This is one way I can contribute to something I care so much about, while making space for conversations that matter If you’re able to donate, I’d really appreciate your support.
