Support My Walk for Mental Health Research
Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience a mental illness each year?
This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.
I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.
It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.
Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.
My Updates
Today, i start walking 261km for mental health
This October I’ll be walking 261km for mental health, in solidarity with Australians affected by mental ill health and suicide. In the NT, there were 261 mental health-related emergency department presentations for every 10,000 presentations in the Territory, the highest rate of any Australian jurisdiction. This is according to 2024-25 data. I'm turning this number into 261 km of walking to raise money and awareness for mental health. Making real space for mental health, not just paying lip service, is something I care deeply about, and I wanted to turn this thinking into something practical before the year is done.
