Support My Walk for Mental Health Research

Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience a mental illness each year?

This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.

I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.

My Updates

Day 9 - walked every day

Chalked up a total of 42kms now and embracing the daily habit of getting out and onto the pavement. having a cause that drags you out of bed helps with the mindset shift.. I don't have to go for a walk, I get to go for a walk.. and the cute is bigger than me!

Day 6. just beat the rain

Wisn't so keen this morning to get the pavement but forced myself out there. looked the mountain and decided it needed to be a quick 30 mins... perfectly timed as rhe storm rolled through just as I settled back inside Close to halfway on KM target already.

Day 1. it begins. gloomy but determined

Day 1 and I got up when the alarm went. weather was gloomy but I hit the pavement anyway. early regrets for living on a hill... up or down hill whichever way. chalked nearly 4km. calves and hammys got a solid workout.
