Support My Walk for Mental Health Research
Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience a mental illness each year?
This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.
I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.
It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.
Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.

This October, I’m walking 100km in solidarity with Australians affected by mental illness and suicide. Not because awareness is enough. Mental illness can be deeply complex — difficult to live with, difficult to explain, and sometimes even difficult for the people who love you to understand or know how to support you. The path through it is rarely linear, visible or simple. I’ve come to believe that choosing to look inward, reach for support when it’s available, and consciously work to change the patterns your brain has learned takes enormous courage and effort. That work deserves more than judgement or platitudes. It deserves understanding, compassion, proper support and celebration. So I’m walking for the people doing that work quietly. For those still finding their way. For the people beside them who are learning how to understand and support them. And for a future where we make more room for the complexity of mental illness — not just awareness of its existence. 100km is a small physical act of solidarity for something that asks so much of so many.
