Support My Walk for Mental Health Research
Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience symptoms of mental illness each year?
This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.
I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.
It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.
Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.

This year marks my 7th year walking One Foot Forward for the Black Dog Institute. I walk for a few reasons that are close to my heart. I walk in memory of friends and family I've lost to suicide. People I loved, people I still miss every day. I walk so their stories aren't forgotten. I walk for my own mental health. I've had my own battles over the years, and I know what it's like to be in that dark place where getting out of bed feels impossible. Walking has become part of how I keep moving forward — literally, one foot in front of the other. And this year, I'm walking with extra motivation. I was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer. It's been a lot to process, but it's given me even more clarity on why this matters. Mental health and physical health aren't separate — when one takes a hit, the other does too. So I'm walking while I can, for as long as I can. For 7 years I've believed in what Black Dog Institute does — the research, the education, the real support for people who need it. If you can donate, share, or walk alongside me, I'd be so grateful. Every dollar helps someone else keep going. Thanks for supporting me again and good luck to one and all.
