Support My Walk for Mental Health Research

Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience symptoms of mental illness each year? 

This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.

I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.

It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.

Thankful to be here!

Here I am again! Getting ready to start my 7th One Foot Forward challenge. 🧡 Over the last six years, I’ve walked 1,465 km and, more importantly, raised over $6,000 for mental health research and support. This is something I’m incredibly proud of. Raising funds to support mental health research, and the resources that create knowledge, hope and help, is really important to me. For many years, I rode the roller coaster of mental health and know that life can, at times, feel incredibly tough and challenging. I’m so grateful that, over time, I’ve had access to great therapy, helpful resources, and the support of trusted family and friends. I’ve learnt so much along the way, and I’m living my best life right now — and I know that’s because of all those things. I’m especially grateful that the me of 15, 20, 30 and 40 years ago made it through. I know people who are going through those tough times right now, and I hope they know that there is help, hope and love out there for them. Please reach out. You don’t have to do it alone. I’m doing this challenge for myself, for my loved ones who are battling now, and to honour the loved ones I’ve lost along the way. Thank you for your support. 🧡
