Support My Walk for Mental Health Research

Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience a mental illness each year?

This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.

I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.

It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.

Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.

Feeling blessed

Aanother walking done and feeling good. Although it can hurt if I push too far, I am at least moving. The more I walk the easier it all gets, the more free and happier I feel.

Why i'm walking

This October, I’m walking for mental health. ❤️ I’m walking for my children, for everything they’ve been through, everything they’ve had to carry, and the battles they’ve faced that no one has seen. As a mum, you’d do anything to take away their pain, but sometimes all you can do is stand beside them, love them, hug them, and remind them they’re never alone. I’m also walking for myself. For everything I’ve been through, the moments that have broken me, the days I’ve had to keep going when I felt like I had nothing left, and the person I’m still becoming. Every step this October is a reminder that our mental health matters. Asking for help isn’t a weakness. Talking about how we’re feeling can make such a difference. And sometimes, just knowing someone is there beside you can mean everything. So I’ll keep putting one foot in front of the other, for my children, for myself, and for anyone who’s struggling quietly. One step at a time. ❤️
